As I mentioned in my end of year comments, last year I spent time obtaining the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM and Chartered Wealth Manager designations to go with my Chartered Financial Planner status. The recognition of our work from the awarding bodies is fantastic to receive and it is always a very pleasant thing to be recognised by your peers.
What’s more important, however, is that we are doing a great job for our clients. It therefore gives me immense pleasure to tell you that I recently qualified for a listing in VouchedFor’s 2020 Guide to the UK’s Top Rated Financial Advisers, which was distributed in The Times, for the second year in a row.
The reason this is so important to me is that it is based on client reviews. I’ve included some details on exactly how VouchedFor works below, but the basis for the system is entirely down to positive client feedback. If you do not have absolute proof from a number of clients that you are delivering excellent financial planning then you just do not get included in the guide. As such, the guide includes many outstanding advisers and planners and I’d like to congratulate all of those who made it into the 2020 edition – a great achievement – well done!
If you’re an existing Charters client and have already left a review on VouchedFor.co.uk, thank you, I really do appreciate it. We literally would not have a place in the guide without you. Equally, if you haven’t got around to leaving a review yet and would like to, you can start the process by clicking here. If you’re interested you can see my full profile here or by clicking on the below VouchedFor widget.
What is VouchedFor?
VouchedFor is an independent service that lets you find, rate and review Financial Advisers. VouchedFor’s mission has always been to help consumers get access to the best advice for them. It does this using verified client reviews and extensive adviser checks, which provide powerful, independent validation of the great work many advisers are doing for their clients.
The site only lists Financial Advisers who are authorised by the appropriate governing body and who pass extensive checks.
We’re big fans of VouchedFor because, whether an individual is using us or another adviser, the site only promotes genuine financial advisers and goes to great lengths to ensure those advisers are providing genuinely great advice.
Can VouchedFor’s ratings and reviews be trusted?
VouchedFor goes to extraordinary lengths to ensure client reviews on the site are genuine:
• It monitors numerous data points to detect potentially fraudulent reviews, conducting investigations wherever required.
• It asks professionals to verify each reviewer is a genuine client, which means unlike most review sites, it knows exactly who’s behind any fraud it spots.
• Where a professional does not verify a reviewer, VouchedFor contacts the reviewer to verify their identity – so professionals can’t just verify the clients they know are going to leave a positive review!
• VouchedFor never edits reviews – whether good or bad – but it does provide advisers a public right of reply.
• Ratings and reviews are based on feedback from genuine clients, which is extremely useful if you’re looking to contact a local professional.
What is VouchedFor’s 2020 Guide to the UK’s Top Rated Financial Advisers?
The 2020 Guide to the UK’s Top Rated Financial Advisers aims to help people understand how advice could benefit them and celebrates financial and mortgage advisers who are delivering excellent outcomes for their clients.
As well as being endorsed by at least 10 clients, each adviser included in the guide is a fully verified member of VouchedFor, which means VouchedFor has checked that they have the necessary permissions to practice, in line with the latest Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) rules.
VouchedFor members also undergo several other checks and ongoing monitoring. For instance, VouchedFor checks advisers’ identity, qualifications and client reviews. It also monitors news outlets and the outcomes for everyone who contacts an adviser through VouchedFor.
If you are already a Charters client you may know that we truly believe that the best way for the business to grow and maintain our excellent service values is to do so organically, one client or family at a time. We therefore really appreciate it when clients refer us on to others and, as a ‘Top-Rated Adviser’, you can be certain your friends, family and work colleagues will be in safe hands.
If you are not yet a Charters client and you are in any way concerned about your current or future financial position, why not contact us to pencil in a date for a chat and a coffee? You can get in touch with us on 01789 263888 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
