A plan, built around you

We focus on the things that matter most to you and your family. We don’t believe much in providing one-off advice because, as with most things, the best results are achieved through long-term dedication and commitment.

We will encourage you to examine your current situation closely and assist you in establishing some long-term goals. We’ll take time to get to know you and understand what you want—and what you don’t. This enables us to focus on the most important things to you and your loved ones. At the same time, we’ll identify the absolute must-haves and the nice-to-haves.

Once we’ve clarified what you want out of life, we’ll work with you to build and develop a bespoke plan of action—a financial roadmap if you like. This plan will set relevant and meaningful objectives, which will be adjusted as your circumstances and requirements change. The roadmap shows where you stand (at any point) versus where you want to get to.

We aim to make your life easier, less stressful, and more connected. It’s not rocket science; it’s just old-fashioned common sense combined with objectivity, devil’s advocacy (as and when required), and a high degree of financial expertise.

As far as we’re concerned, that’s what proper financial planning is all about.

Our 'big picture' approach

We believe your overall situation in life is a critical issue. Investments, funds and other financial products facilitate your goals and ambitions; they’re a means to an end instead of an end in themselves.

Experience tells us that you’re much more interested in knowing when you’ll be able to retire, how many holidays you can afford each year, and whether you can afford to gift some money to your children or pay for your grandchildren to be privately educated.

Our relationship with you will be founded on this ‘big picture’ approach.

Helping you achieve your dreams

Our life-focused approach to financial planning places you and your family at the heart of the planning process.

Making the complicated uncomplicated

When managing your money, we aim to provide you with the best returns for the least risk at the lowest cost. In our minds, investment management doesn’t need to be any more complicated than that.

Having established your goals, we identify the types of investments best suited to help you achieve them.

Most of our clients favour a diverse mix of low-cost, streamlined investments designed to track a particular market or index, such as the FTSE 100. Other investors prefer funds where the manager chooses which underlying securities to include in their portfolio. Whichever solution we recommend for you will be matched to your individual needs, circumstances and beliefs.

Naturally, you’ll want to invest in rigorously researched funds and accounts. By taking full advantage of our resources, you’ll know that your investments are considered best-of-breed within their respective categories and sectors.

Like you, we accept nothing but the best.

The value of our advice

No doubt you want to know sooner, rather than later, about the costs of our advice; hence our transparent, honest and direct approach to the subject.

Initial meeting with our compliments
Our exploratory meeting does not involve any type of fee and puts you under no obligation to take up our service. During this meeting, your financial planner will explain our services and how we charge for those services.
The value of advice
We firmly believe that expert, professional financial planning advice is one of the best investments you can ever make. Apart from providing you with complete peace of mind, assurances about your financial future and precious time back, our service aims to save you tax, reduce your borrowing costs, increase the value of your savings and investments and secure you a higher income; all with the least amount of risk and complexity possible.

Don’t just take our word for it. Research* shows that the average UK income in retirement is £19,000 per annum. However, the average for those who set goals working with a financial adviser is £26,000. Put another way, by not working with a financial adviser, a client can potentially lose out on an extra 36.8%, or as much as £157,000 over the course of a 21-year retirement.

Value for money
Our clients understand that service comes at a price and recognise that you ‘get what you pay for’. We are by no means the cheapest, but we firmly believe we offer outstanding value for money.

You may find cheaper advisers, but our years of know-how and expert knowledge allow us to shape and customise our advice so that you receive the best possible service at a competitive price.

Clear and transparent
Our fees are easy to understand and fully disclosed. You’ll know exactly how much our advice costs before appointing us.

Maximising your gains
We minimise your fees and charges by recommending investments that exhibit exceptional value for money. This maximises your potential returns and leaves more money/income with you and your family, rather than the investment or fund manager.
